Tribute to the tiercel

Kay Meng has been photographing the Franklin Institute tiercel for four years now since their first season in 2009.

These lovely images will remind us what a cool, remarkable hawk he was.

    sad to hear about dad. prayers for mom and babies. i'm a little worried about baby #3 and hope he/she thrives.

    I am heartbroken beyond words. He was such a wonderful dad and hubby. I will truly miss him.
